Life On Shuffle

HI =D
Perfect song for moment:

1. She Had the World- Panic at the Disco (with no exclamation point.) i smiled when this song came on. Pretty.Odd. is just such an awesome album. dont deny it. who cares if brenden urie does it for the money and the band broke up. i dont judge.

we shall just keep going with life on shuffle. why not?

2. The Science of Selling Yourself Short- Less Than Jake. im not a terribly huge fan of less than jake, "but i think its fine by me, im my own worst enemy." true that.

UGH.
3. Sex On Fire-Kings of Leon. I hate this song, and i hate the sound of this guys voice. it reminds me of all music from like back in the day, and i live in todays music, non of the cruddy stuff of course but i will just never truly like all dem oldies stuff. Even though this is by the kings of leon, it just reminds me of crap. and PLUS, friggen scotty today was saying how this song reminds him of you know who. and havent we all heard enough about him out of scottys mouth! outrage.

at least this makes up for that:
4. Such Great Heights-The Postal Service. I like a lot of music. even though it wouldnt seem it considering i just bashed kings of leon, i like poppy stuff, alt, more technoy stuff, rap of course, i like most of the dumb songs that everyone likes (lady gaga) and i even like heavier stuff. It all just depends what mood im in. Lately ive been in the blogging mood. But theres nothing wrong with that. thats why they invented these things. Maybe i should google who invented it. was their last name Blog? that would be interesting. Anyways, the postal service is particularly mellow. which is good. lets just leave it at that. ***use you infering abilities here.

(***see bottom for triple star meaning)

5. Whats My Age Again? Blink-182. Everyone should like blink 182. good ole blink 182. they are just so good. and everyone should know it. the first few lines of this song are perfect. and since we are playing the life on shuffle game, it still fits yet again. if you are curious enough to know what those lyrics are, google them you bum.

6. Faust, Midas, And Myself- Switchfoot. I cant say ive specifically remembered this song or actually even heard it before. thats surprising to me though because its switchfoot and usually i know most of the music from bands like that. As its playing i do remember the chorus. this is a good song. i like it. since i dont really know it though im not really sure what the lyrics are. but thats okay, trust me they still work.
p.s. i like the varying tempos in this song. at first i was like woohoo all nice and chill. then i was like BAM. and it excited me.

I excite easily.

im going to stop this game now, but im ending it with Dakota by A Rocket to The Moon. Originally i felt like not many people knew this song because a rocket to the moon is a relatively local artist. but just the other day, a few people and i were talking to this girl coincidentally named dakota, and three of the people broke out in song. it saddened me.

tra la la la la.la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaa

its almost christmas. i am not in the christmas spirit yet. i do not really have christmas presents for people. WhAtS hApPeNnninG.

p.p.s. when youre writing these things, why do the examples for labeling your posts include scooters? i understand vacation and fall.. but scooters? awkward....

i always have one more thing to say....

i would just like to inform everyone how much joy i get from watching the save now button function by itself and watching it update and auto save my drafts. Its entertaining. the simple minded are easily entertained. TOO BAD thats not me. Damn fortune cookie material CRAP.

sometimes i do however stop typing momentarily and wait for it to auto save. just sayin.

OH AND I THOUGHT OF ONE MORE THING.

but then i forgot.

*** triple star is something i used once in this post, i used it to point out the fact you should infer that since i am enjoying the mellow postal service, and i listen to the right type of music depending on my mood, you should infer that im feeling mellow. in case you can not infer that for yourself. =)

Outbursts of Who Knows What.

SO. i analyzed my life today. very briefly. and i realized how fricken weird it is.

you see, i was having a nice conversation with two different people. about the same topic. it was actually more like a retelling of a story that happened in the past, but non the less it was interesting. Via aim and text message, one boys anger and narrow mindedness was easily seen as a way to cope with what he wishes didnt exist. the other boy, equally angry, has obviously spent the time coping with the situation and staring it in the face. im not really sure why this entire thing is relevant to my life, but i enjoy stories and listening to people vent. One boy was more than happy to tell me the entire story, or at least what i assumed was the complete story, while the other just seemed to tell me three things about what had happened and pretended the rest just didnt exist. both boys, equally charming and funny, one of which will probably end up reading this, taught me a lesson. well maybe they didnt, but me being me i was able to create some metaphoric type of meaning to it all.

i kind of just forgot what the answer was though..but i remember when it was my turn to vent, i had this immense story and i didnt even know where to begin. I ended up explaining what i thought was relevant in my life in four or five text messages. It surprised me what i pulled out. i freaking like surprised myself. no one besides myself will ever understand this besides myself. but really i do not care. im going to listen to my ipod. it understands. lets see what it tells me....

1. Ohio is For Lovers- Hawthorne Heights. this is a good song. its the live acoustic version. maybe i should move to ohio. i dont even know anything about ohio. i have a shirt though, that says everything is better in ohio. i got it at ocean state job lot because i thought it was cool, even though it had no meaning to me. "and i cant make it on my own, because my heart is in ohioooo. so cut my writs and black my eyes, so i can fall asleep tonight."

2. Come and Go- 50 Cent. Shit does come and go. and it sucks. "bring em in kick em out"

...more about analyzing my life while this song ends.. i decided i have no friends. well obviously i have friends. but some friends are now just preppy bitches and hang out with people i dont like, or arent fond of. not even for a specific reason, they are just not fun funny or interesting. UGH. i get pissed of a lot. people make me feel like shit. especially my parents. im just not smart enough to do shit. and the more they just tell me im lazy or whatever makes me want to be lazy and just fail. WHattteverrr.

see there i go again. just brushing shit off. bleh.

3. Id Do Anything-Simple Plan. "dreamin a dropping outta school and leave this place and never come back" hah. im gonna do that one day. maybe if i can find some freakin friends. OR i can just go to some dumb person college by my lonesome and meet new people there. then just back pack through europe or something. whatever losers do.

3. man overboard- blink 182. damn i am a man overboard. this song has no relation to the lyrics of Sparks the Rescue- Shipwreck. but they remind me of each other. ive always been one for pirate-ly things. i like pirates and sailing and the thoughts of nautical things. when i went to europe in eight grade, when i actually liked life for three weeks, my best girlie and i bought our sailor necklaces. i like those. i wish i still wore it.

4. Exit to Exit- Ryan Cabrera. Okay why does every friggen song written have to do with relationships. what the heck. well all i have to say about this is that im just traveling from exit to exit. i guess i could make this metaphor work. you see i have no idea what the hell i want to do. i really am floundering. just driving down the highway checkin out if there are any good exits to take. well my friend, there arent. Wan wan wan.

WOW im so depressing. sometimes i just get angry. for like no reason. im so dumb.

5. Tomorrow-Avril Lavinge. None of these songs are even that good. i just have such an eclectic abundance of music that the randomest things pop up. And YEt "tomooorrrowwww, is a different day", they all still fit in my life, in some random twisted way. I see it.

Buttt yeahhhh. so i think im really starting to value my new friends. i like it when people open up to me. it helps me cope with my own retardedness. i have a lot of stuff inside me that i need to open up about. but most of the time when i do it always comes out shitty so i never do.but yeah. when other people open up, or just tell me things, not even important things, it makes it easier for me to respond.

Today my friend told me he was thinking about how we met. and that just made me laugh because i think about people and things so much, its weird to think that anyone ever thinks about me. i giggled.

so float on by modest mouse is probably a fantastic song. bands like modest mouse are kind of awesome. im not really one for ska, but i like bands that have songs saying "are you dead or are you sleepin...cause i sure hope you are deaddd!"

I only bump rap while driving in the car. i can not drive with anything else. driving is kind of helping me though, because now i know all these popular songs from listening to the radio so much. i listen to big boyz. ahah. they bump the best g-tunz. nuff said.

p.s. Say Anything will forever and always be my favorite band. No one will ever top Max Bemis. I think he is on an even better level than i am. no. fair.

Confusion. The Ending of 2009. ish.

Sooooo. Tis such a sincerely interesting life i live. ah. truly.

i obviously havent written on here in an uber long time. but we can obviously infer that for ourselves. im not sure who "we" are because i am not specifically writing this to or for anyone, therefore i dont even know if anyone will ever read this. but despite that, im writing now. cause i feel like it, and im gangster and i do what i want. =P

oh dear. so my life has changed immensely. im not even sure when it began to happen. but at least since before summer. seriously. its kind of ridiculous. i reallyy dont even know where to start. blehh.

i always think to myself how much i like writing stuff. i like writing people poems. and whenever i have shit loads of thoughts i can always put them into poem formation. i always want to write everything down, but once i try i suddenly can not remember everything i wanted to say. its slightly frustrating.

anyways. i guess i could try and start with talking about my ipod. i like lots of music. i listen to pretty much everything. since im such a geek i believe in geeky things, like fortune cookies, and how the first five songs that play on shuffle on my ipod will represent my life that day. so basically, i already played some songs on shuffle, and they totalllllly made sense for my life. but i feel like doing it again, cause its kind of like monday, and the songs that already played were for sunday. soo hereree i gooo.

1. Almost- Bowling For Soup. aahaahaha i totally had an awesome conversation about bowling for soup the other day. not only that but "i almost had you, but i guess that doesnt cut it. almost had you, and i didnt even know it." wtf. "here i go thinkin bout all the things i could have done" damn. and thats all i have to say about that.

2. Float On-Modest Mouse. see i told you! my ipod is my lifes metaphor. "and we'll all float on okayyyyyyy. and we'll all float on anyway." im floating on. so PCE out.

3. Turn Me On- Vitamin C. yeah i totally have vitamin c on my ipod. deal with it. "are you gonna turn me on, or are you gonna turn on me?" my lifeeee...

4. LOVE TODAY- Mika. I once made a music video to this song. when i was young and naive. -sp- thanks to my sister all my relatives, friends, and even my swim coach got to watch me embarrass myself. thanks for that. but see, my life always sucks at the beginning. then something good happens. "everybodys gonna love today, gonna love today"

5. I Get Money-50 Cent. A typical gangster ending. cause im a g. Grillllzzzz

ahhhh. so. i like new friends. i like making new friends alot. everyone has been getting new friends. and some old friends just dont seem to be interesting anymore. thats okay though, because if you have new friends who actually are your friends, then no one says you have to stay attached to the old ones. Im still not entirely sure what im doing with my life, but ive accepted the fact that im kind of a floater. now that i have my license, i just do what i want. its obvs a great sense of freedom and all, but im gonna go straight G on you and say i do what i want.

school this year kind of sucks. but when has it ever not? its whatever though, im trying to make the best of it.

bleeeebooooopbop

theres no school tomorrow...or today i guess. its snowy out. i like snow, and hate it at the same time. ever since i became allergic to the freaking cold i havent been fond of winter. i cant do anything anymore. its saddening. buttttt i still find other ways to entertain myself.

BOWLING FOR SOUP- friends like you. go listen. now.

usually these stupid entries are entertaining. but i needed an update with wtf is happening. hopefully during chrisumm vacation and new years i can add some fun stuff.

wtf am i doing for 2010 anyways!?! damn. i need to figure that shit out.

but anyways. i guess thats all furr now. <3333333333333333 pce out boi scout.

im feeling very weirdish right now. dont ask me why.

An Old Mysterious Blog.

SOOO THIS BLOG USED TO BE TITLED HMMM, AND I WROTE IT ON 7/19/09. I JUST FOUND IT SAVED AS A DRAFT ON 12/22/09 AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I NEVER POSTED IT.

so here you go for your reading pleasure: and old mysterious blog.

So basically i am sitting here at my computer. I'm dickin around on facebook, myspace, my email, itunes and i am instant messaging people. And all of a sudden i acquired this inspiration to write this amazing epic incredible story about the past few days because they have just seemed to be incredibly incredible. But as soon as i opened the blog spot web page, every ounce of intelligence and story comprehension was swept away. So now i am sitting here scratching my head wondering what to do now. I can probably create some magical story that will entertain you in some way shape or form if i just keep babbling, so i guess that is whats going to happen.

Anyways at this exact moment itunes on my computer is playing music on shuffle. And you see sometimes when music plays on shuffle, some really outrageous random music from the deep depths of my ipod that i did not really know existed plays. But sometimes, i don't really notice these weird songs playing because im not actually listening i am just thinking and doing my own thing. At this very moment though there is a song playing and i cant really think of a good way to describe it other than singing it directly to you.

"may la shem du booty bootty hoony hooony bata kata heeenieee.. YA YA bata lata koonie sha bata la hana doonie hoonie hoonie hoonie bata kata la heeeenniieee YA YA. hundi ba la hana sha na. la sakie hana sa la mana hani doonie haaaanie hannie YA YA." etc etc.

So pretty much i have no idea where this song came from or why it was playing. The interesting part though is that i only noticed it was playing after it was more than half way finished playing. And the even more interesting part is that i actually kept listening to it until it finished. Who knows why. This is an everyday occurrence in my life though and it always amazes me what music i download those times i go on music rampages in the middle of the night.

Speaking of the middle of the night, i learned recently that i mumble and babble, almost talk, while i am asleep. Ive heard that i snore, but now it turns out my subconscious mind and i try to communicate during nightfall. Now this is actually pretty freaky to me, because there are so many just incomprehensible things that i think about everyday and every moment, that there is no controlling what obscene things my mind is trying to convey to the world. There are endless possibilities of all the things i might say and really i am not sure if the worlds ready for it.

Also, i heard that carl stumbled upon this blog. i think carl is funny. so this is a shout out for carl. hi carl.

The beginning of an unfinished pointless short story.

Once upon a time in a land not so far away, just down the street actually, there was a boy named Kale. In the small town of Snapple, Ohio, Kale lived in one of the oldest and creepiest houses in town. With its sunken foundation from the surrounding swamps, it was by far the epitome of fear in Snapple. The house was surrounded by a spiked rusted fence, with a rickety gate which no longer stayed shut by itself. Every door and window within the house was rickety and practically ready to fall right off its hinges. Most of the windows glass panes were broken, but had been replaced by wooden boards. The floor boards within the house were barley nailed tightly enough to be stable, creating a dangerous playing field. Although the floor did provide an excellent and infinite abundance of secret hiding places, the pieces often broke and created splinters.

Although everyone in town looked down upon the house and Kale's family with fear, Kale did not seem to be phased. In fact, he quite enjoyed his old mysterious house, as it provided him with adventures and fueled his imagination. Over the years nine year old Kale had developed a very active creative mind due to lack of friendships his house prevented him from having.

Kale's parents both belonged to an organization set out to improve the worlds carbon dioxide output, and simultaneously oxygen intake. Their mission was to plant new trees everywhere around the world, and to educate the planet about the importance of forests, rain forests, and jungles. They constantly traveled and held conventions while meeting and befriending millions of humanitarians. Because of their intense philanthropic jobs and extensive traveling regimen, Kale spent most of his time reading the postcards his parents sent him. Although they loved him very much, they spent there time away from home, which is why Grandpa Earl was head of the household. You see, Grandpa Earl was not one to reckoned with. He was a crazy old hoot, with just an active and crazy imagination as Kale, if not more. The two of them though, Kale and Grandpa Earl, they were best friends. Because Grandpa Earl was crazy, he never realized Kale was supposed to go to school, and Kale just never bothered to tell him. So basically all day they chilled out and thought up impossible adventures. Sometimes, they even conducted experiments and constructed inventions! Back in the day Grandpa Earl was self taught engineer and aspiring inventor, where his outrageous personality helped to fuel his designs. They made all types of contraptions, varying from no hands dog bathing tub, to a robot barber.

Futurama

okay. so i decided if i am going to be a published author one day i am gonna have to start writing and practicing. this blog used to be dedicated to traumatic moments and the tales and tragedies that went along with them, but that is now going to change. there was a huge overload of traumas that occurred towards the end of the school year which ultimately was just too much for my small mind to comprehend. my fingers and the keyboard could not keep up with the occurrences flowing out of my head, hence, there are no entries for like a fricken year. anyways, i guess i should tell you, who ever is reading this exactly why i am on a quest to becoming a published author.

"clears throat"

i colette, have no specific attachment to writing or any internal desire to write, type, or read. i do not enjoy books, english, or essays with any certain passion. i do however have a very keen tongue when it comes to telling stories out loud. i always seem to find myself day by day telling an old story, telling a new story, or creating a random story off the top of my head. i am not sure why this happens, who exactly ends up listening, or anything of the sort, but i still end up doing it anyways.

so the other day i was on a trip, and i came upon a very intriguing sight in which i stopped dead in my tracks. it was a psychic, a fortune teller, palm reading, tarot card, crystal ball kind of lady. now being myself of course i had to stop and take a look at what this lady was all about. so i did. i stepped into her office, or small mystical area if you prefer, filled with magical props and and aromas. obviously, i was under the spell of the psychic, because i then managed to pull a crisp ten dolla dolla bill out of my right pocket and hand it to her. how could i stop myself though, i mean after all she "knew i was coming." when i was ready i showed her my palms, and she glared deeply at them, or into them, whichever. immediately she began relying information to me about myself and my life. some things i knew and some i did not, but either way i believed it all, everything she had to say. the part about the seasons, a team, the next two years, the medical field, and of course, becoming a published author. i am destined to write books and poetry, and one day become published, and noted as an author. so basically i am pretty pumped about this, and now have motivation to write these wonderful posts.

i believe the psychic, and am great full i have been guided in the right direction the full fill my destiny. even if destiny cost me ten dollars.

Random ish ness

Basically, i have been fortunate enough lately to go untouched by traumatic horrors. Luck must be on my side. A new leaf has been turned over. A new road paved. Who knows why.

Anyways, that means i have been boring. So here are some random semi interesting stuffffff.

1. The other day my mom had the pile of mail in her hand. She was going through it when she pulled out two letters. Oh, look at that. One letter from Whoooopi and the other from ths.. HMM what could these be?! OH better open the smart daughters first... aHHH! Congratulations daughter, you made the deans list!!! YAY. Husband, she made the deans list! And the second letter of course, being about me...Your daughter has missed three days of school. In our school system students are only allowed seven absences and must complete a certain number of full school days. Further absences may result in a non-completion of the school year. Have a happy day. GO ME! yeah. fail. At least my mom thought my response to that was funny.. "oh! so i can still miss four more days!" hahaa. yeah.

1.5 Also, today i saw another pile of mail! And it being me birthday and all the other day, there was a late bday card! YAY more money!! I frantically opened it up!! JUST TO FIND>..... it was empty. -__-

2. I have been making new friends with people i should have already known by friend association. If that makes sense..i like new friends.

3. TENNIS started today. Oh damn. Running around the school! Really?! Damn you new construction making the distance longer. Yeah. I hate running. Never mind my lack of tennis skills, i was more worried about running around nowhere. Blah. At least it was cold enough out to swell my hands and face. Lucky me and cold enduced urticaria.

4. Today in chemistry class, the teacher called on me to answer a problem. The question was about isotopes and protons etc. Basically i got the easy part which was subtraction 23-11. I said "uhh (mumble mumble) thirrrteeeenn?" then a.. "oh wait hold on.. (me doing the math in my notebook) TWELVE." Im pretty sure i should get a medal because i made the teacher laugh. WOW. Im good.

5. UHH. im running out of things.. hmm alana found the roasting chicken!!! AHH! Who fricken knows why we couldnt find it before. Idk.

5. I just spent a week with only my sister and my mom. And now im spending this week with only my DAD. weirrrddd. hah but i did get a funny text from my mom. Shes in vegas. And so far.. she has lost six dollars. That made me laugh.

6. I keep looking over at this book on my desk. You see, i stole it. From... a random house. In hawaii. Its called Lifeguard. I like lifeguards. So i took it.

7. OMG. Im the art teachers pet. YAY. I have no idea how i did it. But i am. I got an A, and everyone else didnt. and i missed three days of school, as my letter told me. Anyways, that lady loves me.

8. OMFG it was my bday. I got an awesome new camera. I took many pictures. And I cant figure out how to get them off the camera. So thats a fail. On the other hand, i took the easiest test (permit test) of my life and totally drove around in a parking lot. The only bad part was the people in the other corner of the parking lot dealing drugs. hah. Then i drove around my street. Like twenty kajillion million billion times. It was fun. The neighbors enjoyed it too. But alana didnt. She made me take her back home and drop her off. Booo.

9. Oh yes also the other day i went babysitting. This is kind of fun partially because i get money... and partially because i get to sculpt the mind of a little child. Shes going to be just like me. I know it. Shes already a freak. And hystericall. AHhh. YAY. While i was there though i watched a movie. Twice. And speaking of movies i got the movie WANTED for my bday. Which is just basically kind of amazing. Im pretty sure i can totally slow things down with my mind just like mr. tumus. hells yeah.

10. Basically thats the end.. I will probably delete this soon because its kind of boring and not traumatic. But i felt like writing stuufffff. yeah.

Chemistry Escapades

Now with a jump to more recent news:

Within this new semester, i have strong awkward feelings towards my D block chemistry class. There is something about that class which i find troubling and find myself pondering the reasons to when i go to sleep at night. The room. The atmosphere. The TEACHER. Everything. I have no idea what it is or how to accurately describe it, all i can do is tell you the facts.
Fact one- I sit front row center. This means im bound to be called upon, looked at, and in general im an open easy target due to the lack of people smarter than me to block the teachers view of me.
Fact two- The front row center seat, is the crotch and nostril seat. Obviously being me that WOULD be my seat. All class, which really seems like an eternity of babbling, I get to stare either at the nice mans belt buckle, or up the nice mans nose. Just my luck of course.
Fact three- My crappy seat affects my learning. Being the thrifty observer of people and actions that i am, sitting in the front row is the exact opposite of my ideal seat. Not only can i not see anyone, i am practically forced to become a social idiot. You see while the class sees and hears the jokes the class clown in the back is making about the teacher when he turns around, i of course, am stuck watching the second hand go round and round the clock. I have absolutely no idea of any type of misbehavior or humor occurring behind me, and therefore am startled by the teacher standing directly atop me yelling violently, while i was diligently working.

Now just in rereading this, i have come to the conclusion that the seating arrangement of the classroom may be the entire reason for the wretched 84 minutes. But on the other hand, the main point of this was to convey to you how easily this can become traumatic. For example...

It was yesterday. I was sitting yet again in chemistry class. Lonesome little me, in the front, chilled by the draft of the teachers constant pacing. Now that i recall, i cant even remember the topic of discussion, or anything of the sort. Anyways, there i am as quiet as can be, trying to go as unnoticed as possible. The teacher, what does he want? Of course, a volunteer. Aye! But it shall not be me! What on earths heavenly periodic table of elements do i have to add to the demonstration that no other can preform?! Well looks like im in the clear, he asked for a volunteer, so ill just sit back and watch some other poor soul. But wait! What just happend!? Why yes, we are talking about Colette here everyone. Of course, the teacher called on me. Disregarding his previous statement of a "volunteer" he apparently thought that me holding my hands beneath the desk meant i was urgently trying to get his attention to pick me. Anyways, to move along with the story, he wanted me to look at a thermometer every minute and give him the temperature readings. Oh damn. Who knew reading a thermometer could be so challenging. In front of the class, i stupidly read what i thought was an intelligent reading of "2.....point 5?" Just to be quickly shot down with a "NO, thats not it." After a few seconds of dumb founded mumbling and a few under my breath OMG's, he finally gave me the answer of "it must be twenty five, not two point five." So practically im already retarded and through my cluttered mind enabling me to read a temperature scale i could hear the crickets echoing and im pretty sure i saw a tumbleweed pass. So basically everything is silent except for the next few slowly passing minutes when Colette and her squeaky desk interrupt everything to look at a thermometer she can not read. So, after four minutes, the teacher was on a role, so i decided to stop. Shortly after that, i get a "wha.. col..." which i quickly responded to with an "Oh did you want me to keep going!?'. which lead to another horror of the teacher rolling his eyes and shaking his head. "Yes i wanted you to keep watching, we havent seen a significant change!!", then me, "Oh My Bad," which lead to an eruption of laughs from my previously deadly silent classmates. After much struggle, i did my task. Yes, poorly. Yes, i managed to ruin/ mess up the experiment. Yes, i looked like and idiot in front the teacher and the class. And YES, it was a significant traumatic moment.

All this goes to show that chemistry is a very substantial form of a trauma creating atmosphere. One last thing, today, yet again in chemistry class, we were lucky enough to play LAST CHEMIST STANDING. Despite the fact none of us are chemists, we all joined in as a review game. The first ten or so competitors easily breezed through there round of questions leading me to believe i should do the same. Sadly, i was mistaken. He comes to me. Its my turn. When SUDDENLY!!, a huge ass question that boggles my mind comes out of the teachers mouth which quickly disables me to thoroughly hear the actual question never mind interpret it. Basically, the answer was "evaporation" but thinking on my toes i said, "sublimation." How dumb am i right. I mean, it wouldnt have been SO bad, if it werent for the look on the teachers face comprehending my outraged lack of simple knowledge. So, if you were wondering, YES, i was the first chemist sitting. Traumatic, yes i believe so. It practically made me wanna fall off a bridge in plasma, which is the fourth type of matter which is the largest maker-upper of the universe, rather than a liquid, which makes up the largest part of the earth. I suppose i learned something. HAH. yeah.

Introduction/Orange

*The entries from this point on will mostly be an accumulation of daily traumatic moments i can recall. *

Basically one of the first traumatic moments i recall daily is the orange story. It was first grade. Grade one. The first year of school beginning with a number. The grade after kindergarten. Yes, there i was sitting innocently at my desk in room one along with the other first graders. I am quiet, attentive, a diligent worker, but obviously being me, not always the most logical. We are taking a test. The palms begin to sweat. Lungs shrink. Heart beat increases. I am not a good tester. Not only am i a lonesome first grader engulfed in a room full of coloring shenanigans, i have no idea what this test is on. OH MY. A spelling test. The test is a spelling test. So basically the only reason a large majority of the words in this blog entry are spelled correctly is because of spell check. So ever since i was a youngster trying to make my way through the struggles of elementary school i could never spell well, and to this day still cannot. Anyways, i get the test. Turns out its not too bad. Its on colors. I easily spelled the first few colors, you know, red, blue, but then, my worst night mare. The word ORANGE, other wise known as the epitome of my demise. I cannot for the life of me spell this "oragne, orenge, oraneg" word right. No, its not happening. But then, this is where the stories takes a turn. I look around the room, for any ounce of help, guidence, anything! And there, on the closet door, a beautiful poster with a splash of color reading in bold letters atop it, ORANGE. I finished the test, with a sweaty outfit and a guilty look on my face. Feeling horrible, i happily received a great grade and from then on never forgot how to spell that oh so special word. So naive i corrupted myself and cheated on my first test. It hasn't affected me too much these days i would say, just enough to be thoroughly traumatic and very memorable, earning its spot as the first blog-able moment. yeah.

Accumulating Traumatic Moments

Traumatic moments in my everyday life are classified as instances of awkwardness, my own stupidity, or both, interacting with the world around me. As a result of these interactions I, Colette, am left standing looking utterly dumb or feeling rather unintelligent. There are numerous types of traumas ranging from embarrassment, memories, and even to futile moments.

Now, this may be seeming like an unworthy blog-able topic. But for me, the amount of traumatic type moments i can recall at the end of the day is higher than average. You may be asking yourself, "is there even a tallied scientific average for classified traumatic moments?" To that i do not have an answer, except, whatever the average would be, i would place above.

Today, beginning in the bright an early morning of A block french class, I began a list on my favorite yellow notepad, titled, "Traumatic Moments and Significant Events." I quickly scratched down a good amount of memorable things from the most recent past, and beyond. I was sure to leave room at the bottom though, for the day to come was surely filled with moments waiting to happen. yeah.
